MUV hits stationary truck, 3 killed

Three persons were killed and as many injured in a collision between an MUV and a stationary truck at Rupahar under Itahar police station in North Dinajpur district today, the police said.
The MUV was giving space to a lorry coming from the opposite direction and, in the process, rammed into a stationary truck on NH-34 at around 7.30 AM.
The deceased are driver Malay Das (30) and two passengers of the MUV, Bhajan lal Mahata (32) and Rupesh Pandey (28), police said.
The injured were admitted to Raiganj District Hospital.
