Muzaffarnagar riots handiwork of communal forces: Mulayam

Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav today said the violence in Muzaffarnagar district was a handiwork of communal forces and the Uttar Pradesh government is trying to maintain harmony among the people.
Speaking at a party function here, Yadav assured that the government is doing its best to maintain amity and those forces involved in vitiating atmosphere in the state will be crushed.
Taking note of fresh clashes that took place in Muzaffarnagar yesterday, in which four were killed, he said the power of the government was "supreme" and it would crush those forces vitiating atmosphere if they went beyond control.
Highlighting the works done by Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, the SP supremo said Rs 90 crores had already been given to the affected areas for construction of houses for the victims.
