The CBI team investigating into the alleged abuse of minor girls at a state-funded shelter home here has obtained all relevant documents from the local police, officials said.
The case relates to mental, physical and sexual exploitation of the girls residing at Balika Grih, Muzaffarpur.
According to the Station House Officer of Mahila Thana, Jyoti Kumari, who was also the investigating officer of the case earlier, said the CBI team took a copy of the FIR and also obtained information about the evidences gathered so far.
Meanwhile, attachment proceedings are being initiated against the absconding chairperson of the district child welfare committee, Dilip Kumar Verma, police sources said.
Earlier, during a search operation conducted by a team under supervision of a magistrate, 63 types of medicines and two types of injections meant for epilepsy were seized from a first-floor room of the shelter home, they said.
These were listed by Anjum Ara and Sanjiv Kumar Pandey, who were part of the search operation.

The sources said that the epilepsy injection, if administered to a healthy person, would render him unconscious.
It was apprehended that this injection might have been used on the inmates to sexually abuse them, they said.
A forensic team also carried out a thorough investigation of the room and took samples from certain points for lab tests.
The sources said that the papers and computer seized from the home have been sent for thorough examination.
In all, sexual abuse of 34 inmates out of 42 have been confirmed in their medical examination while two others who were unwell were yet to undergo medical tests.
