"The Walking Dead" star Andrew Lincoln, best known for his role as a lovesick man in "Love Actually", said his character in the film had some 'stalker' tendencies.
The 42-year-old actor played a cameraman who falls in love with his best friend's wife played by Keira Knightley in the 2003 hit.
"He is a stalker. That was my question to Richard Curtis, 'Do you not think we're sort of borderline stalker territory here?' And he said, 'No, no. Not with you playing it, darling. You'll be alright'," Lincoln said in an interview to TheWrap.
In a scene, Lincoln's character Mark uses a series of large note cards to profess his love to Knightley's character, who is married to his best friend. She doesn't end up with Mark in the end, but does give him a parting kiss.
"I quite like the fact that I'm in one of the most romantic movies playing the only guy who doesn't get the girl," he said.
"It's like I did this film called 'Moonshot.' Everybody else got to the moon and I was the only guy who didn't go. So I think it's a running thing in my characters. I'm the guy who doesn't get the girl or go to the moon.
