"Music is the essence of film industry. When I was in school between dance and music, I chose music. In college between music and theatre, I chose theatre. For me acting and singing are parallel vectors," Ayushmann told reporters here at the launch of the single "Ik Vaari".
"It would be right to say that I am a mixture of both actor and singer. My life is incomplete without music," he said.
Ayushmann has sung a single "Ik Vaari" which is directed by Pradeep Sarkar and produced by Bhushan Kumar's T Series.
"It's for the first time that I have worked on a rehash or remix of a song. The songs that I have done so far are not commercial, they (songs) have been rustic. The 'Aashiqui' part adds more to the zing," Ayushmann added.
