The 37-year-old actor, who has been seen in films like "The Jane Austen Book Club", "Confessions of a Shopaholic", said that his time as a rom-com hero has come to an end, reported Femalefirst online.
"After I did 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' there was definitely a moment when I could have done other romantic comedies and that would have become my 'thing'," he said.
"But I don't think I would have lasted very long because they weren't really ... Well, they weren't very good. The only control I have over my career is the power to say no," he added.
