The meetings came after he met National Security Advisor Ajit Doval along with the Army chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag and chief of the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA) Lt Gen Anil Bhalla last night.
The visiting Myanmarese General had also visited the Information Management and Analysis Centre (IMAC), Navy's nodal centre of National Command Control Communications and Intelligence Network (NC3I Network) yesterday.
Though there was no official word on what transpired at the meeting, sources said the issue of closer coordination and strengthening of security at the border was discussed among others.
The developments came just weeks after the raid carried out by Indian Special Forces on June 9 inside Myanmarese territory against Naga insurgents who had attacked an army unit in Chandel in Manipur five days earlier.
18 army personnel had been killed and as many injured in the Chandel attack and the Indian operation in Myanmar was a retaliation against that strike.
