As per the surprise move that is aimed at boosting trade relations, Indian business persons will get visa for 70 days on arrival and a fee of USD 50 will be charged, sources told PTI here.
Another category for which visa will be given on arrival to Indian nationals is 'Entry visa' and the criteria will be meetings, events etc, the sources said.
Under this criteria, visa will be given for 28 days for a fee of USD 40, they said citing the decision conveyed to the Indian government this morning.
Indians can also avail 24-hour visa-on-arrival for transit.
Myanmar already has visa-on-arrival scheme for tourists.
The decision comes a day after the Prime Minister returned home after a three-day historic trip during which the two countries signed 15 agreements covering the fields of trade, energy and connectivity.
