The credit projections will grow by 39 per cent from Rs 82,534 crore in the ongoing fiscal (2014-15) to Rs 1,14,927 crore in 2015-16 for Rajasthan's agriculture and allied sectors, NABARD Chief General Manager Rajendra Singh told reporters here.
Agriculture being the driving force of Rajasthan's economy, the total outlay for the sector has been assessed at Rs 88,269 crore, Singh said.
Of this, the share of crop loan and term loan is assessed at Rs 68,544 crore and Rs 19,725 crore, respectively, he added.
Meanwhile, for facilitating financing of agri term loans, NABARD's regional office will launch two area-based schemes -- one at Jhalawar for orange cultivation and another for dairy -- in 15 districts in the state.
