Under rural bridges and road project, construction of seven bridges and one road would be undertaken in Ambala, Panchkula, Sonepat, Yamunanagar and Panipat districts of Haryana involving RIDF (Rural Infrastructure Development Fund) loan of Rs 28.25 crore, the official spokesperson said.
Besides, the loan has been sanctioned for construction of 167 government veterinary hospitals and dispensaries in all districts and one drinking water supply project in Rewari district.
Besides this, the project will directly benefit 46 villages and provide farmers access to 18 marketing centres.
He said Nabard has also sanctioned a project for augmentation of one Rural Drinking Water Supply Schemes in Rewari district, involving RIDF loan of Rs 37.71 crore.

The implementation of project will result in better and safe drinking water facilities to 14 villages of Rewari district, the spokesman said.
The project is expected to generate about 1.16 lakh work days of non-recurring employment during implementation, he added.
The main objective of construction of buildings of the veterinary institutions was to provide a better working environment for the staff for quality delivery of veterinary services to the farmers or villagers, he said.
The project involves RIDF loan of Rs 53.29 crore and will benefit more than 167 villages and will generate non-recurring employment of 8.35 lakh work days, he said.
With this sanction, the cumulative RIDF assistance sanctioned to the Haryana government under RIDF has reached at Rs 5,972.41 crore and an amount of Rs 4,284.55 crore has been disbursed till September 20, 2017, he said.
