Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J P Nadda today met seven prominent citizens of Shimla under the 'Jan Sampark' programme of the BJP.
Nadda visited the residences of these persons and discussed a number of issues and explained the policy initiatives taken by the Modi government.
The discussions were fruitful, Nadda said in a statement.
He met former Supreme Court judge and former Lokayukta of Himachal, Justice L S Panta, retired high court judge A K Goyal, ex-chief secretary S S Parmar, former chairman of the electricity board and electricity regulatory commission, Subhash Negi former bureaucrat and writer Shrinivas Joshi, prominent writer Harnot and chairman of the Indus Hospital Balak Ram Verma.
