Nagal, Rawat sail into last eight of ITF Futures

: Top-seed Sumit Nagal and second-seed Sidharth Rawat of India sailed into the last eight of the singles event of the 8th S R Subramaniam Memorial ITF Men's Futures tennis tournament here with easy wins today.
Nagal outclassed his second-round rival Paramveer Singh Bajwa, a qualifier, 6-2, 6-0 to set up a quarterfinal clash Jayesh Pungliya, who edged out Korea's Seong-Gook Oh 7-5, 7-6(4).
Rawat made short work of qualifier Anvit Bendre, beating him 6-3, 6-4.
Colin van Beem of the Netherlands, seeded three, was in good form as he annihilated Ju-Hae Moon of Korea conceding only two games. He now meets another Korean, 8th-seed Tae-Woo Lee in the quarterfinals.
Qualifier Arjun Kadhe continued his winning ways when he came back from a set down to oust Kelsey Stevenson of Canada. He will meet No.7 seed Cameron Silverman of USA in the last eight.
