Nagaland CM joins social media bandwagon

Nagaland Chief Minister T R Zeliang today joined the social media bandwagon and launched his official Facebook page, Twitter handle and Instagram account.
He is the first chief minister in the state to have such accounts in social media.
"Today, social media network has become one of the most effective tools to connect people to people and disseminate information quickly," Zeliang said.
He said he has decided to join the social media with the sole objective of coming closer to the people by directly connecting to them through it.
The chief minister also asked people to use social media for constructive purposes and desist from using it for harmful and negative purposes.

Marking the occasion, a documentary titled "T R Zeliang, The Story So Far" was also released by MP Neiphiu Rio.
