Zeliang informed Naidu that Nagaland government would soon submit the Smart City Plan for Kohima to the Ministry of Urban Development for evaluation in the Fast Track Competition in which 23 cities from as many States and Union Territories are participating.
The Chief Minister said that best possible efforts have been made to improve the Kohima proposal to address the deficiencies pointed out in the first round of competition in which 20 cities have been selected.
Naidu asked the officials to examine the status of various projects in progress in Nagaland for doing the needful as per guidelines, an official statement said.
