Briefing on the statistics of the BJP-led government which completes one year in office tomorrow, Anoop Kumar said during 2014-15 the revenue collection was to the tune of Rs 457.29 crore against the target of Rs 430.98 crore.
Similarly, during the year 2013-14 the revenue target fell short and stood at 99.37 per cent. In 2014-15, it was registered at a high of 106.11 per cent, Kumar told a press conference.
Reiterating that Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis has called for 'no celebration only communication' message, Kumar said the Nagpur district was soon emerging as an 'educational hub' in the country.
Besides, land has been allocated to National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) and other institutes in and around the city, he said.
