Nagpur Football Club storm into semis of Bihar Cup

Title contender Nagpur Football Club today sailed into the semifinals of the 4th All India Football Tournament for 'Bihar Cup' defeating Junior Army, Lucknow 3-0 in the last quarterfinal match at the Moin-ul haq stadium here.
In an one-sided encounter, Nagpur FC established its total domination over the Junior Army team in the first thirty minutes, pumping three goals in the opposition net.
Faisal Hussain struck the first goal for the winners in the 22nd minute, while Nigerian star David Latin volleyed a curling shot into the net from a pass by strike partner Afsal Akhtar in the 28th minute to increase the tally to 2-0.
Defender Nusrat Kamal helped his team take an unassailable 3-0 lead when his hard right-footer beat Junior Army keeper Vickey and found the back of the net in the 30th minute.
Army goalkeeper Vicky had a busy time throughout the match with Nagpur strikers pushing hard.
In the semifinals, SSB (Siliguri) would clash with Army XI (Kolkata) tomorrow, while Mahilpur FC (Pujab) would meet Nagpur XI in the second semi-final on March 27.
