Nagpur sizzles at 45.2 degrees Celsius

Nagpur today recorded a maximum temperature of 45.2 degrees Celsius, the highest in Vidarbha region which reeled under heat-wave conditions.
This was the highest temperature recorded in Nagpur, Maharashtra's second capital, in this summer season so far.
Bramhapuri and Gondia also recorded 45.2 degrees Celsius, the Met department said here.
Chandrapur was slightly lower at 44.8 degrees Celsius and Amravati registered a high at 44.6 degrees Celsius.
Following are the maximum temperatures recorded in other important places in Vidarbha region: Akola-44.1, Buldana-41.3, Washim-42.6, Wardha-45.2 and Yavatmal-44.2.
