usurping everything that he could lay hands on and helping his son Jagan amass huge wealth. The Opposition leader also accused the current Chief Minister of indulging in corruption, and slammed ruling Congress party and its offshoot YSR Congress. "On one hand, we have to see the end of the Congress and on the other, ensure that its offshoot YSR Congress is not voted to power," Naidu told the gathering. "Jagan broke away from the Congress with the sole objective of becoming the Chief Minister and stashing away his ill-gotten wealth. But sooner or later, he will wind up his show and go back into the Congress." The TDP chief was supposed to end the first phase of his foot march on January 26 after having covered over 1,700 km, but the "overwhelming response" from people made him prolong it indefinitely. In the last 134 days, Naidu has walked through 915 villages, 17 municipalities and two municipal corporations across 13 districts. "Though his health is not cooperating, Chandrababu is determined to continue the foot march to reassure people that he is with them to mitigate their woes. The response he is drawing from farmers, women, youth and every other section is tremendous," TDP vice-president and former MP Kambhamptai Ramamohan Rao observed.
