Naidu complements CPIM) govt of Tripura

CPI(M) government of Tripura came in for praise today from the Centre for its initiatives in the urban developemnt sector.
Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said at a meeting of Ministers of State governments, Mayors and Municipal Chairpersons here that the Tripura Government is taking good initiatives for urban development.
"Irrespective of differences in political ideologies, good work done by whomsoever needs to be appreciated and the Tripura Government is doing well," Naidu said.
A case study on 'Replacement of Streetlights in Agartala by LED lights' was presented to the Mayors and Chairpersons of 500 municipal bodies as a part of the two-day long consultations on the three new urban sector missions that concluded today.
Naidu appreciated the initiative and urged others to follow it.
