A court today denied bail to Congress MLA N A Haris' son in a case relating to the alleged assault on a man at a pub-cum-restaurant here in February.
The 62nd Additional City Civil and Sessions Judge B Parameshwara Prasanna rejected Mohammed Nalapad Haris' bail plea after the prosecution submitted more evidence against him and his aides.
This was third time that Nalapad was denied bail. Earlier on March 14, the Karnataka High Court had dismissed his bail plea. He was also denied bail on March 2 by a sessions court.
Mohammed Nalapad Harris, son of N A Haris, was booked on the charge of attempt to murder. He allegedly assaulted L Vidwath during a brawl at in U B City here on the night of February 17.
The city civil and sessions judge had reserved orders till today after hearing arguments of both sides.
The prosecution had made submissions before the court not to grant bail to Nalapad as some of the accused were still at large and investigation was still on.

Nalapad and six other accused were sent to Parapana Agrahara Central Jail after a city court awarded a 14-day judicial custody for further interrogation.
The MLA's son and others were arrested on February 19 when they surrendered at the Cubbon Park police station.
The incident had created a political storm, prompting the Congress to suspend Nalapad from the party for six years.
He was Bengaluru District Youth Congress general secretary when the incident took place. Nalapad's father had also tendered an apology in the state legislative assembly over the issue.
