Namma TYGR is to hit the Bengaluru's cab aggregators market next month.
"Yesterday, Namma TYGR, a drivers app, was inaugurated by H D Kumaraswamy" (JD-S leader), Uber, TaxiForSure and Ola (UTO) Drivers and Owners Association leader Tanveer Pasha told PTI here today.
The attachment process will start by September 27 and in the next 15 to 20 days the cabs will hit the road, he said.
Pasha said Savetur Digital Private Limited, which owns TYGR app, would run and manage the business according to a model drafted by drivers' union.
The union will control and supervise Savetur through their company, Huli Technologies.
Kumaraswamy would be playing an advisor's role and help raising investments in future.

"We will offer AC mini services at Rs 12.50 per km and AC Sedan cars at Rs 14.50 per km, which are less than fixed government rates of Rs 19.50 per km and 14.50 per km, for AC and non-AC cabs, respectively," he said.
The company also will focus on driver benefits, including a 12 per cent commission for drivers, besides insurance and family benefits, among other incentives, he said.
The company aims to give Rs five lakh worth of life insurance, Rs five lakh as accident insurance and Rs two lakh medical insurance to the drivers annually.
There are also plans to set up five private patrol security cars to attend to drivers' problems like facing drunken riders traveling late at night.
"The private patrol car will help drivers during medical and legal emergencies," he added.
The idea for such a company originated when the drivers had gone on strike in February against cab aggregators, demanding better incentives and stopping attachment of new cabs which they said affects bookings.
