'Between the Lines', which Nandita co-authored with Diya Jagdale and made her debut as a playwright and stage director two years ago, was screened at the packed theatre at MoMI on October 25.
"I am overwhelmed by the response at MoMI. For the first time I got to see it (the production) on such a big screen, with such good acoustics... Right from its inception 'Between the Lines' has been an incredible journey and I am glad to get so many opportunities to share it," she said.
She will herself present the CinePlay at the prestigious university with a screening at the Whitney Humanities Center Auditorium at Yale University.
"Between the Lines" is a contemporary play set in urban India where well-educated, affluent couples enacted by Nandita and her real life husband Subodh Maskara find themselves caught between modernity and tradition. The play explores the relationship between a lawyer couple who end up arguing on opposite sides of a criminal trial.
