Narayanan continues giant-killing spree in C'wealth Chess

Narayanan and top seed Sergei Tiviakov of The Netherlands), M R Lalith Babu and P Karthikeyan (both from India) were joint leaders ahead of tomorrow' decding final round.

Half a point behind the leaders at 8.0 points are Marat Dzhumaev (Uzbekistan), Indian duo of SP Sethuraman and M Shyam Sundar.

Scoring his sixth win in a row, Narayanan has thus far scalped his third Grandmaster in this event -- Adhiban, Oleksienko Mikhailo and Venkatesh.

Chandika Divyasree made her second Woman International Master Norm despite her loss to Grandmaster Deepan Chakkravarthy.

The title fight for the championship is bound to be an interesting affair between youth and experience. The final round tomorrow promises interesting stuff with numerous prizes to be won.
