M K Narayanan, who recently resigned as Governor of West Bengal, today described his tenure as 'wonderful'.
"Nothing more than wonderful. What can I say when I say wonderful!" he replied, when a reporter asked him how he felt about his stay in Bengal as Governor after the swearing-in of new ministers in a mini reshuffle at the Rajbhavan.
After the swearing-in ceremony was over, the Governor took light refreshment with chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her cabinet colleagues.
Eighty-year-old Narayanan resigned on June 30 on a prodding by the NDA government.
Narayanan, a former IPS officer, who had served as Director of the Intelligence Bureau and was also the National Security Advisor, was appointed Governor in January, 2010.
