Narrowly mixed trend in metal market

Narrowly mixed trend was noticed on the non-ferrous metal market here today. Lead prices edged up due to mild offtake while, copper, brass utensils scrap and nickel eased owing to poor demand from industrial users.
Lead inched up by a Re one per kg to Rs 135.
However, Nickel moved down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 695 from overnight closing level Rs 700.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, Copper Armiture, Copper Utensils Scrap, Copper wire bar, Brass Sheet Cutting edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 370, Rs 365 Rs 360, Rs 335, Rs 398 and Rs 271 from yesterday's close of Rs 372, Rs 367, Rs 362, Rs 337, Rs 400 and Rs 273, respectively.
Copper sheet cutting and brass utensils scrap softened by a Re one per kg each to Rs 354 and Rs 264, respectively.
