Nashik-based journalist A V Pathan passes away

Senior journalist A V Pathan passed away at Lasalgaon near here today after a brief illness, family sources said.
He was 74 and is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter.
Pathan was a prominent figure of his community in Lasalgaon, where he was also associated with social and educational activities.
Pathan, who worked with the daily 'Brahmar' and other local publications, served as President of Nashik District Journalists Association. He was Director of Janata Cooperative Bank and Secretary of Lasalgaon Education Board.
