To provide a platform for young tech entrepreneurs, industry body Nasscom has started its second start-up warehouse in Kolkata.
Under Nasscom's 10,000 startup programme, they have inked a partnership with the West Bengal government to open its second warehouse, financially supported by the state government.
Located at Salt Lake, the Kolkata Start-up Warehouse has room for more than a dozen start-ups. It will provide early stage technology start-ups with highly affordable co-working space.
"We are hoping that this would evolve into a collaborative centre for learning, sharing and development of ideas. The vision of Nasscom 10,000 start-ups is to provide a platform for entrepreneurs to turn their ideas into scalable businesses," Rajat Tandon, senior director of Nasscom 10,000 Start-ups, said.
