"It has been decided to provide jobs to all individual medal winners, irrespective of having won gold, silver and bronze and also to team members who won gold in various disciplines," Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said.
Those qualifying for jobs, the total number of sportspersons who needed jobs was 86, he said.
As announced earlier, Rs 5 lakh would be given to gold medallists, Rs 3 lakh to silver winner and Rs 2 lakh to bronze medallists, he said.
It was also decided to extend all help to sportspersons from the state who had shown exemplary prospects in the National Games and qualified for the Rio Olympics in 2016.
They would be given hands-on training and would be groomed for the Olympics, he said.
The government would undertake the responsibility of providing top-notch training to swimmer Sajjan Prakash, shooter Elizabeth Susan Koshy, athletes Anilda Thomas and Anu Raghavan, who qualified for the Olympics, he said.
