National seminar on current legal issues tomorrow
Press Trust of India Kozhikode In its continuing commitment to elicit views and responses of the legal fraternity across the country, the Bar Association of India (BAI) will be organising a day-long seminar here tomorrow on issues concerning the rule of law, the legal profession and the Justice Delivery system.
Chief Justice of Kerala High Court Justice Ashok Bhushan will inaugurate the seminar while the valedictory function would be addressed by Supreme Court Judge Justice Kurien Joseph.
Legal luminaries, including former additional solicitor generals Raju Ramachandran and L Nageswara Rao, senior advocates M N Krishnamani and Rajiv Dutta would take part in the seminar being held for the first time in the city, Prsanth Kumar, Executive Vice-President and Rachana Srivatsava General Secretay of BAI, told reporters here today.
The seminar will feature discussion on important contemporary issues in an interactive setting on various topics such as "Practical Roadblocks in promoting mediation, they said.
