The Games, commencing on July 27, would be Natu's second Olympics on the trot, having officiated as umpire in Beijing four years ago, a press release from the Poona District and Metropolitan Badminton Association, of which Natu is the vice president, stated.
Natu has officiated at major international badminton events since 1994, including the Thomas and Uber Cups, World Championships, All England championships, Sudirman Cup and Grand Prix events, the release added.
