Natural rubber output up 11% in July; imports down 14%

Natural rubber production rose by 11 per cent to 58,000 tonnes in July, while imports fell by 14 per cent to 35,560 tonnes last month, according to the Rubber Board data.
The production stood at 52,000 tonnes and imports at 41,258 tonnes in the same month last year.
Natural rubber consumption rose marginally to 89,000 tonnes in July compared to 88,340 tonnes during July 2016, the data showed.
