Naveen thanks voters for supporting BJD

Ahead of taking oath of office as the chief minister of Odisha for the fourth consecutive term, Naveen Patnaik today expressed his gratitude to voters for ensuring BJD's victory in the just-concluded elections in the state.
"I thank the people for their support for the last 14 years... I also thank people for their support to ensure BJD's victory in the last elections," Naveen said.
The Chief Minister addressed people at four places - Sheragada, Govindapur, Burupada and Hinjili during his two-hour-long road-show.
After garlanding a statue of his father and former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik, Naveen started his road-show from Sheragada and winded up at Hinjili, where a civic reception was organised.
Several senior leaders of the BJD, including newly-elected MP (Aska) Ladu Kishore Swain, MLAs - R Ch Chyauptnaik (Berhampur), Purna Chandra Swain (Surada), former MP (Rajya Sabha) Renubala Pradhan, Nityanand Pradhan and score of party functionaries were present at the show.
The 68-year-old Naveen was elected from Hinjili in the just-concluded election for fourth consecutive time.
