Navratri festival starts at Saptashrungi temple

The nine-day-long Navratri festival started with traditional fervour and gaiety at the famous Saptashrungi temple in the district.
The temple is situated atop the Nanduri hill in Kalwan tehsil. Devotees thronged this and others temples in the district to worship the goddess.
Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in the city and other areas.
The Nashik unit of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation will ply additional buses from here to Saptashrungi temple for convenience of devotees.
