Naxals-police face-off in Gadchiroli, none hurt

A group of naxalites today opened fire on a police patrol party in a forest area of Gadchiroli district, police said.
At around 9 AM, the armed ultras started firing indiscriminately on the police team at Paddhaboria forest in Fulbodi Gatta under Dhanora taluka of Gadchiroli, they said.
The police team also fired in retaliation.
No one was hurt from either side, they said, adding the naxals managed to escape from the spot.
