Nazar leads Services to eight-wicket win

Services notched up a convincing eight-wicket victory, riding on Shadab Nazar's (5/27) excellent piece of medium pace bowling, in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for North Zone here today.
Opting to field after winning the toss, Services bundled out Haryana for a paltry 75, before chasing down the target in just 16.5 overs.
Haryana's innings lasted just 28 overs, with the 27-year-old Nazar wrecking havoc with his swing bowling at the Luhnu Cricket Ground. Barring opener Sunny Singh, none of the Haryana batsmen could reach double digits.
Apart from Nazar, Narender Kumar picked up three wickets, while Suraj Yadav had two to his name.

Chasing a meagre total, Pratik Desai top-scored with a 58-ball 45 as Haryana completed the job with as many as 199 balls remaining. Desai hit eight boundaries during his unbeaten knock.
