NBCC will soon launch an e-commerce enabled portal to cater to real estate requirements of various government agencies, departments, public financial institutions and law enforcement agencies as part of Digital India programme.
We are working on a unique digital footprint and it will be launched shortly, said National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd (NBCC) CMD AK Mittal.
NBCC portal will be a first G-2-G (government to government) portal to assist the government agencies in gainful deployment of properties under their control.
Mittal said the portal shall enable online booking and payments for properties, much the same way as we book cinema tickets online.
According to the plan, all correspondence and financial details relating to any transaction shall be preserved online for effective protection of real estate consumers' rights.
Apart from facilitating routine transactions such as buying and renting of flats, shops and offices, the portal shall facilitate meeting of like-minded parties for entering into viable joint-ventures and other market oriented arrangements in workshops, resorts and factories.
