NBFC dupes many including beggars

A Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) has allegedly duped several persons, mostly beggars, as he police arrested two agents including a woman from Deonagar under Sitaramdera police station here today.
According to the victims, the company, stated as Reliable Gems and Jewellery Limited, allegedly duped people to the tune of Rs 2 crore.
Even beggars had invested in the company some to the tune of Rs one lakh, said Officer-in-charge of Sitaramdera station, Dayanad Kumar.
Kumar said two agents including a woman of the company were arrested after a case was registered in this regard.
The closure of the company came to fore when some of the investors went to collect their amount after their tenure of investment matured.
Later, a group of beggars met senior police officers along with company's agents demanding immediate action against the culprits.
