The decision to reintroduce the double decker bus service was taken in the last Board meeting of the corporation that was held on October 3 in presence of the chairman cum the North Bengal Development minister, Gautam Deb.
The Managing Director of the NBSTC, C Murugan said that an old double-decker bus has been thoroughly renovated and painted. Earlier these buses used to ply on Sonapur route.
This time it will ply between Cooch Behar and Alipurduar or Cooch Behar and Mathabhanga.
NBSTC
