Kendrapara district election office (DEO) today issued non-bailable warrant (NBW) against 109 personnel for skipping poll duty.
While 54 employees had initially been served NBW for defying DEO's order, 55 others were issued NBW later during the day for the same reason, official sources said.
The officials were assigned polling duties in different areas including Mahakalpada assembly segment, but were found absent for which NBWs were issued by Kendrapara Collector, Nitin Bhanudas Jawale, who is also the district election officer, they said.
