NC: 2008 agitation was grand PDP-BJP conspiracy

Terming the 2008 Amarnath land row agitation as grand a PDP-BJP conspiracy, ruling National Conference (NC) today said that it was designed to trifurcate Jammu and Kashmir.
"People's Democratic Party ((PDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have been exposed for hatching a conspiracy in 2008 to trifurcate Jammu and Kashmir", NC provincial president Devender Singh Rana said while addressing a party workers' meeting at Buflaiz in Poonch district.
"It was a double-edged sword," he alleged, while saying that the parties had not only planned to destroy the state's secular fabric, but also pull down the Congress-led coalition government and plunge the state into political instability.

Describing PDP and BJP as two faces of the same coin, Rana added that the duo have not stopped their deceptive tactics.
