"The NC-Congress coalition government will sweep the state and win all six Lok Sabha seats. The people will reject the politics of hate and elect those candidates that will represent the true secular character of Jammu & Kashmir," NC leader Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo said.
Addressing a rally in Kishtwar, Kichloo asked people to vote for Union minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, NC-Congress nominee from Udhampur-Kathua Lok Sabha seat, while highlighting the achievements of the coalition government in the state which he said has "brought in a new era of development and prosperity".
"The people of the state have also made a valuable contribution towards restoration of peace and normalcy which is crucial for growth and economic development of any state," the state minister for home, industries and commerce said.
While praising Azad for his valuable contribution in development of health infrastructure across the country, Kichloo highlighted "huge strides" made by the state in the health sector.

"By sanctioning new medical colleges and commissioning super speciality hospitals, Azad has made advanced treatment available to people at their doorsteps," he said.
The government will work strenuously for operationalising the newly-created administrative units, he said.
The J&K minister also highlighted the efforts of the state government in providing responsive and accountable administration, adding that enactment of Public Services Guarantee Act and RTI Act was were major interventions in achieving this goal.
