"No political party has demonstrated a greater and more equitable political will to usher Ladakh region into an era of prosperity, connectivity and progress as much as National Conference," Omar said at a series of election meetings in Nubra Assembly constituency.
Omar highlighted the work done by his government in the region in the last six years.
"It was Sheikh (Mohammad Abdullah) Sahib who ensured fair representation of Ladakh in his first popular government by inducting Kushak Bakula Rinpochee as Minister for Ladakh Affairs," he said.
"It has always been our endeavor to ensure a greater connectivity and an increased level of governance in the most remote areas of Ladakh region and we have achieved historic success in this mission in the last six years," he said.
