NC holds protest against erratic power, water supply in Jammu

The opposition National Conference (NC) today staged a protest against erratic water and electricity supply in Jammu and blamed the PDP-BJP coalition "ostrich-like approach for the problems faced by the people.
The NC workers gathered outside the Public Health Engineering department headquarters to lodge a protest and condemned the PDP-BJP coalition for the erratic water and electric supply during summer months.
"The government has failed on all fronts and lack of political will and direction has made the administration rudderless as a result of which governance is at its lowest ebb," NC leader Dharamveer Singh Jamwal said.
Jamwal said that NC cannot be a mute spectator to the agonies of the people and shall knock every door to seek redressal to their problems.

He expressed anguish over shortage of water and electricity in various places across the district and urged the divisional administration to constitute a team to review the situation and suggest corrective measures so that people get some respite.
