Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Planning and Development, Labour and Employment, Ajay Sadhotra yesterday visited several border villages in Marh block and took stock of situation due to shelling by Pakistan.
The state government has prepared a comprehensive contingency plan to cope up with the situation, he said.
Sadhotra said that people living close to IB and LoC are facing severe difficulties and it is prime responsibility of the government to protect them.
The minister asked youths to come forward and avail the benefits of self employment schemes launched by the state government and the Centre.
