Additional Sessions Judge V V Bambarde granted bail to Najeeb Mulla, who was booked in the suicide case of Suraj Parmar.
Parmar had allegedly shot himself dead on October 8, 2015, following which a case under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of the IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act was registered against four corporators, including Mulla.
Parmar had alleged in a suicide note that there was a nexus of corporators and municipal officers, who were harassing him for bribe.
The charge sheet in the case was filed on February 2.

After hearing the arguments of the prosecution and the defence, the judge today said Mulla need not be kept in jail any more.
The corporator was let out on bail on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh with a solvent surety in the like amount. However, the court imposed certain conditions on his release.
The court ordered that the accused would have to give attendance to the Investigating Officer between 3-5 PM every alternate day.
The accused can't tamper, pressure or threaten any prosecution witness, the court said.
