The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the party also sought reinstatement of nine dismissed workers of the company.
"Both unions-National Front of Indian Trade Unions (NFITU) and CITU are demanding release of arrested labour leaders and workers unconditionally, and reinstatement of the nine terminated workers immediately," NCP state president Thakur Randhir Singh told reporters here today after visiting jail in Udhampur district.
Police had arrested over 100 labourers after they went on strike and clashed with police on October 27, demanding settlement of long-pending issues, including the reinstatement of the ten workers.
