She said that the Commission had sought report from Director General of Police in the case.

Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Sunil Kumar told reporters that CID had written to Union Home Ministry for issuance of a red corner notice against main accused Priyadarshi, an automobile businessman and son of a retired IPS officer of Jharkhand cadre.
He allegedly lured the girl under the pretext of marriage.
Kumar denied "any pressure on police from any quarter" in the case.
Asked that the name of the state police chief's son was also cropping up, he said so far nothing had come to light in this regard.
"Pandey has already tendered his resignation from the post of state party vice president. So many things are coming to light now. Initially the victim girl never mentioned his name even in her statement under section 164 in the court and now is pointing accusing finger on Pandey," state Congress Chief spokesman H K Verma said.
"Law is taking its own course and if Pandey is convicted in the case, the party would initiate further action against him," Verma added.
Pandey, who has been absconding, is facing a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on the basis of a supervision note submitted by CID Women's cell DSP Mamta Kalyani.
The girl appeared on local TV channels yesterday and narrated her woes.
An FIR has been registered with SC/ST police station in Patna.
