The National Commission for Women has taken up the sexual exploitation case of a minor girl in which Bihar Congress Vice President Brajesh Pandey and others are held accused, a member of the commission said today.
"The Commission has taken up the case and talked to the victim and collected video footage provided by her on the torture," Sushma Sahu told PTI.
She said that the Commission had sought report from Director General of Police in the case.
"I have also sought time from the DGP to talk to him on the case," Sahu added.
Sahu said she had met the victim who narrated her ordeal allegedly conducted by a businessman Nikhil Priyadarshi, Congress state Vice President Pandey and others.
The minor girl, who also handed over some documents to Sahu, is daughter of a former Congress minister.

Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) Sunil Kumar told reporters that CID had written to Union Home Ministry for issuance of a red corner notice against main accused Priyadarshi, an automobile businessman and son of a retired IPS officer of Jharkhand cadre.
He allegedly lured the girl under the pretext of marriage.
Kumar denied "any pressure on police from any quarter" in the case.
Asked that the name of the state police chief's son was also cropping up, he said so far nothing had come to light in this regard.
Meanwhile, Congress today said the party would initiate action against Pandey after charges against him were found true.
"Pandey has already tendered his resignation from the post of state party vice president. So many things are coming to light now. Initially the victim girl never mentioned his name even in her statement under section 164 in the court and now is pointing accusing finger on Pandey," state Congress Chief spokesman H K Verma said.
"Law is taking its own course and if Pandey is convicted in the case, the party would initiate further action against him," Verma added.
Pandey, who has been absconding, is facing a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act on the basis of a supervision note submitted by CID Women's cell DSP Mamta Kalyani.
Priyadarshi and other co-accused have also been absconding after a local court recently rejected their anticipatory bail.
The girl appeared on local TV channels yesterday and narrated her woes.
An FIR has been registered with SC/ST police station in Patna.
