The Commission has also asked for the fresh medical report from the police, submitted by AIIMS doctors on the reasons for Pushkar's demise, which rekindled the controversy shrouding her death.
"We have asked for action taken report in Sunanda Pushkar's death in light of recent developments from Delhi police along with the new medical report that has been given to them," said NCW chairperson, Lalitha Kumaramangalam.
The fresh report submitted on the reasons for the mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar is "inconclusive", according to Delhi Police.
"The forensic report is inconclusive. The status of our inquest is pending," Bassi had said.
