He said during the last three years there has been no allegation of corruption against the central government or any of its ministers, which proves that the BJP has fulfilled its promise of providing clean and corruption-free governance.
Sampla, the Punjab unit chief of the BJP, made the remarks while highlighting the Centre's achievements so far during a programme organised here to mark three years of the Narendra Modi government.
"During the Congress-led regime (2004-2014) there would be news of corruption or scam every 10-15 days, but this is not the case with the current government. Our government has come up with a welfare scheme every 10-15 days," the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment said.
"The main difference between the current NDA government and the previous UPA government is that while the current government has announced welfare schemes every 10-15 days, cases of corruption and scandals were reported every fortnight during the previous government," Sampla said.
