NDA vice-chairman in Kerala welcomes CM's appreciation of Modi

Rajya Sabha MP and NDA vice-chairman in Kerala Rajeev Chandrasekhar today welcomed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's reported appreciation of the Centre responding positively to the developmental needs of the state.
In a statement here, he said the "positive and pragmatic" approach of the LDF government in Kerala would go a long way in fulfilling the aspirations of its people in the fields of health, economy, technology and employment.
"As the NDA vice-chairman in the state, I am committed to working towards the overall development of Kerala and would act as a bridge to strengthen the relationship between the state government and the Union government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is committed to Kerala's development and its people," Chandrasekhar added.
"I welcome Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan appreciating the efforts of the Union government, led by the NDA, in responding positively to the developmental needs of the state," he said.
Speaking at a function here yesterday, the chief minister had reportedly complimented the Modi government for its support to Kerala's development.
